VRANA LAKE

Vrana lake is the biggest Croatian lake. It lays below the sea level and that’s why the water is brackish. Vrana lake is also an ornithological reserve. More than 100 bird species nest there. In order to preserve rich flora and fauna of the lake, it’s been declared nature park in 1999.

TOWN OF BENKOVAC
